California recently approved Cal/OSHA emergency temporary standards on COVID-19 infection prevention. These new temporary standards apply to most workers in California not covered by Cal/OSHA’s Aerosol Transmissible Diseases standard. Businesses are required to follow safety measures in accordance with the State and Local Public Health orders, such as enforcing indoor mask-wearing among employees and reporting COVID-19 outbreaks in the workplaces as per AB 685 Notification.
